Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician program is a condensed version of the Electrical Installer and Service Technician program at Agri-Tech eLearning Institute. Almost 20 weeks shorter, students have the opportunity to gain and enhance their electrical skills in the fast paced world we live in. This program is specifically designed to meet the needs of companies requiring individuals with the skills needed in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. As industry expands and the population creates more demand for electrical and fiber optic services, the need for technicians continues to increase. Agri-Tech eLearning Institute’s comprehensive program of theory combined with extensive “hands-on” training, both in the classroom and in the lab, impress upon students the importance of accepting individual responsibility for the proper diagnosis and repair of electrical or fiber optic systems.

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this program is to provide specialized occupational training in residential, commercial and industrial electricity.  Students will learn how to apply theoretical principles to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems. Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared for employment in the following occupations:

OCCUPATIONS: Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Contracting, Maintenance Electricians, Cable Installers, Motor Repair, and Electrical Utility Service in commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, apartment complexes, engineering and electrical companies.
