Computer Support Specialist

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this program is to provide intense occupational training in a wide range of comprehensive computer courses designed to prepare students for employment in information technology occupations. Students will learn to operate and repair computers, master software programs, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, develop professional workplace skills, develop interviewing skills, and learn to conduct effective job search techniques.

OCCUPATIONS: Computer Help Desk Technician, Computer Repair Technician, Computer Software Specialist, Networking Technician, Administrative Support Technician, and Customer Service Representative in computer hardware and software companies, oil and gas corporations, hospitals, law firms, nonprofit organizations, public and private schools and universities, retail companies, the airline industry, and many other small and large companies.
